If you are currently being treated with doxycycline or have been treated within the last 3 days, you should talk to your doctor before taking typhoid vaccine, live. Antibiotics like doxycycline can reduce the activity of the vaccine. To ensure adequate vaccine response, you should generally not take typhoid vaccine, live until at least 3 days after you complete your antibiotic therapy.
