Using aldesleukin together with CISplatin may increase the risk of a potentially fatal condition known as tumor lysis syndrome, which is associated with certain electrolyte and chemical imbalances in the blood and kidney failure. In addition, using these medications together or one after the other has occasionally been associated with serious allergic reactions. You should be monitored closely by your doctor for signs of a reaction so that emergency treatment may be administered if necessary. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
