The pharmacokinetics and safety of givinostat have not been studied in patients with hepatic impairment and the impact on systemic exposure cannot be excluded.
Givinostat (applies to Duvyzat) QTc prolongation
Moderate Potential Hazard, Moderate plausibility. Applicable conditions: Arrhythmias, Electrolyte Abnormalities, Ischemic Heart Disease
Treatment with givinostat may prolong QTc interval. Use should be avoided in patients who are at increased risk for ventricular arrhythmias, congenital long QT syndrome, coronary artery disease, electrolyte disturbance, and in patients who are taking concomitant medications that cause QT prolongation.
