What is Lysosomal Acid Lipase Deficiency: Lysosomal acid lipase deficiency is a genetic disorder which results in a reduction of hydrolysis of cholesterol esters and triglycerides. A complete loss of Lysosomal acid lipase presents at infancy and is called Wolman Disease and a partial loss of Lysosomal acid lipase presents later in life and is called Cholesteryl Ester Storage Disease.
