About Adenomyosis:  Adenomyosis is a condition that occurs when the inner lining of the uterus (endometrium) grows into the outer muscular walls of the uterus (myometrium). During menstruation, the misplaced cells bleed directly into the muscle, causing pain and the growth of fibrous tissue.
