Oxbryta (voxelotor) for Sickle Cell Anemia "My experience with this drug is only based on one month but I do feel that if I had continued on the medication I would have had a glorious turn around much less crisis but when the cost that I received was way higher than hoped I had to return back to hydroxyurea. So you can imagine my disappointment Sincerely, Terri."

Oxbryta (voxelotor) for Sickle Cell Anemia "It increased my hemoglobin and I have more energy. My platelets have reduced closer to normal. The only reaction I had was with my stomach, and that's a common reaction, but taking it alone (no other meds) with food resolved that. My insurance covers it with approval, and GBT (manufacturer) covers the rest, so I have no out-of-pocket cost. I appreciate the person who discovered this drug."

Oxbryta (voxelotor) for Sickle Cell Anemia "Very very bad reaction to this medication. This medication broke my skin out in a horrible rash then hives then burned up 90% of my top layer of skin. Only after taking it for three days! I wish the would recall this medication and do more testing because I would hate for this to happen to more people with Sickle Cell Anemia. It’s been one month and my skin is still peeling and two different colors. This was the worse experience of my life!"

For Sickle Cell Anemia "I am on my second week of Oxbryta. At first I had diarrhea (4 to 5 days) and a small rash on my neck very itchy for like 5 days. Now I am noticing my skin getting darker which I think means I' m looking less pale and healthier. I feel great so far! I only take folic acid as other SD drug. I feel it's working."

Oxbryta (voxelotor) for Sickle Cell Anemia "Couldnt afford to stay on Oxbryta nor experience any side effects, positive or adverse. I REALLY hope a more generic or affordable price soon :( Based on this I cannot sincerely give a rating so I will give it a 2"
