Contact your healthcare provider if:

  • Your lipoma is getting bigger.
  • Your lipoma causes new or increased pain.
  • You develop new symptoms.
  • You have questions or concerns about your condition or care.

Follow up with your healthcare provider as directed:

Your healthcare provider may recommend regular follow-up visits to check the lipoma for any changes. You may need tests if your lipoma becomes painful or changes in size or color. Write down your questions so you remember to ask them during your visits.
