Lower back exercises help heal and strengthen your back muscles to prevent another injury. Ask your healthcare provider if you need to see a physical therapist for more advanced exercises.

Your healthcare provider may recommend that you do back exercises 10 to 30 minutes each day. He or she may also recommend that you do exercises 1 to 3 times each day. Ask your provider which exercises are best for you and how often to do them.
