I'm at my wits end with Vimpat and Dr is thinking about phenobarbital next. I'm on Lamictal as well. Any reaction experiences? Please give me insight on how life is on it. Especially energy level, seizure control and weight gain or loss. Thank you.

i am taking depalept chrono 750mg and phenobarbital 50mg a day to control seizures. i have non stop headaches and a doctor prescribed me amitriptyline . at first 10 mg and then 25mg. i am afraid to take it because a general side effect is seizures plus it has an interaction with valproic acid ...

5 yr old lab mix has "grand mal" seizures every three weeks, he also has very bad hip dysplatia. After his diet losing over 60 lbs... he now weighs in at 95 lbs. Taking 75 mg pheno 2xday, plus potassium bromide 2,112 mg once daily. Any suggestions?

The dose is a half tablet every morning and he is seizure free. My question is the labeling. I typed it just as the label is printed. Does each 1/4 grain tablet equate to 15 to 16.25 mg each? I am trying to figure out how many mgs of medicine he is getting.
