Had uri and then back to back now laryngitis. Could it be allergies causing laryngitis?

Uri = prescribed Zithromax seemed to make me worse first. Laryngitis and coughing = cherumtussin and a steroid med beginning with the letter M. It was a pac. Neither I felt helped. Then Saturday prescription for benzonatate. Told to rest voice. Will go back to dr at 2:15 pm... Still coughing voice ...
