I have so much medicine left over, and it seems such a waste for such an expensive medicine. I need to know the real reason why this is recommended. I've used my inhaler 5 months in, due to financial issues, and it worked fine.

Combivent is no longer available. Have a ventilator and need to give this via ventilator tubing and not by inhaling by mouth. Combivent was given with a metered dose inhaler. The new Respimat is only given by mouth. What options are there for ventilator use?
