21-Day Prevention: One 50 lb bag feeds approximately 11,800 lb of total animal body weight for 21 days.*

*The actual daily dosage of CORID 2.5% Crumbles is dependent upon animal body weight. Heavier cattle require more medicated feed. One 50 lb bag of CORID 2.5% Crumbles is sufficient to feed the following weight-groups of cattle the required daily dosage using a 21-Day Prevention Program or a 5-Day Treatment Program. CORID 2.5% Crumbles Caution

For satisfactory diagnosis, a microscopic examination of the feces should be done before treatment. When treating outbreaks, drug should be administered promptly after diagnosis is determined.

There are approximately 11,340 mg of amprolium in every 1 lb of CORID 2.5% Crumbles.

Mixing Directions

CORID 2.5% Crumbles should be thoroughly and evenly mixed in the feed in accordance with good manufacturing practice. The proper amount of CORID 2.5% Crumbles should be mixed daily with the ration consumed each day. The tables below give suggested directions for feeding CORID 2.5% Crumbles.

21-day Prevention

CORID 2.5% Crumbles should be fed daily for 21 days (5 mg/kg) at the rate of 1 lb (453.6 g) for each 5000 lb (2268 kg) body weight, or approximately 0.2 lb (3.2 oz) (90.8 g) for each 1,000 lb of body weight. This amount will supply 226.8 mg amprolium/100 lb body weight. Feed during periods of exposure or when experience indicates that coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard.

5-day Treatment

CORID 2.5% Crumbles should be fed daily for 5 days (10 mg/kg) at the rate of 2 lb (907.2 g) for each 5000 lb (2268 kg) body weight, or approximately 0.4 lb (6.4 oz) (181.6 g) CORID 2.5% Crumbles per 1,000 lb of body weight. Use on a herd basis only; when one or more calves show signs of coccidiosis, it is likely that the rest of the group has been exposed, and all calves in the group should be treated.

Warning Withdraw 24 hours before slaughter. A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating calves. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.
