Directions For Use

For maximum effectiveness, a combination of surface spot treatment and fogging is recommended.

SPACE SPRAY:

Farm Buildings: (dairy barns, milk rooms, beef barns, horse stables, swine housings). For rapid control of flies, gnats, mosquitoes, spiders, ants, cockroaches, apply using a good space sprayer (Fogger) adjusted to deliver a fine mist such as a Fogmaster or U.L.V. equipment which dispenses a fine mist with droplets 15 - 25 microns in diameter. All animals must be removed from barn/buildings before fogging. Close windows, doors and shut off ventilation system and sources of ignition. Wear mask or respirator and protective clothing. Direct spray upwards to fill the room with a fine mist. Use a rate of 200-300 mL per 100 cubic metres. Leave the room closed for 15 minutes before ventilating. Do not use in dwellings. Ventilate and keep animals out of sprayed areas for at least 30 minutes after treatment. Spray only when temperature is under 32 degrees C. Do not use in milking parlour areas.

Livestock: Spray on Beef, Dairy Cattle and Swine: for horse flies, horn flies, mosquitoes and stable flies, apply up to 30 mL per animal using sprayer which produces a fine mist. Cover the entire animal without making the hair wet. Do not spray in eyes or mouth. Do not treat more than once a day. Treat dairy cattle before milking, but do not spray directly on udder. Wash udder before milking.

To Control Blood Sucking Lice on Cattle: Apply to the infested areas of the animal, using a stiff brush to get the spray to the base of the hair. Repeat as necessary but not more than once a day. CAUTION: If irritation appears, discontinue usage.

PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through skin. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating or smoking. Do not breathe spray mist. If irritation appears, discontinue usage. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Do not contaminate feed, food or water. Contents toxic to fish and birds. Store in original container away from feed and food. Use only when milk room is NOT in operation. Cover or remove all milk and milking implements before spraying. After spraying, wash all surfaces that may contact milk and rinse thoroughly with potable water before resuming operations. This product contains a petroleum distillate at 98% (proportion by weight) which is moderately to highly toxic to aquatic organisms. Avoid contamination of aquatic systems during application.
