Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I was on Loestrin 24 Fe for about 2 months. I'm active and have a very busy lifestyle but this pill just made me feel like a lunatic. I felt like I was on the verge of crying all the time, really depressed, really anxious and really tired. Serious mood swings, headaches, breast tenderness, acne- it also made me starving- like Permanent PMS. I didn't want to work out and I didn't want to socialize. I gained maybe 5lbs but that's probably from not working out and eating way more. It did make my heavy crampy periods light and short and my breasts noticeably bigger. Birth Control is different for everyone, I'm very in tune with my cycle when I'm ovulating and very sensitive to a shift in my hormones. This one was just not right for me.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I love it! This is the first form of birth control I've ever been on. My doctor prescribed it to me because of its low hormonal content and it's been great! Started it on the first day of my period - cramps were pretty bad the first 2 days, worse than usual and my period lasted about 9 days as opposed to my regular 4 or 5 and slight headaches for about a week but no side effects at all after that! It's been great! Increased libido was just a little bonus. I was pretty skeptical at first because I read nothing but horror stories about it but so glad I tried it. Out of pocket cost is $45/month. A little steep and there is no generic yet.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I am 19 years old and have been taking Loestrin 24 Fe for almost three years. I have not had a lot of problems with this birth control. It made my breasts a lot bigger, I went from a 32A to 32C and I haven't gained any weight in the past three years. I recently have been thinking about changing birth controls due to the fact that I've been having a lot of stomach issues, and this is the last thing I can think of that might be the problem. I am going to schedule an appointment with my doctor to see what he thinks. I use to have periods that lasted at least seven days and after about 3 months of taking Loestrin 24 it dwindled down to two days. I have very light periods and they are really short!

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Acne: I switched to Loestrin, as the pill I was on before caused me to have migraines. I've only used Loestrin for a week, but my migraines have stopped, however it's caused me to break out ridiculously. I've never suffered from spots before, but I've broken out all over my forehead and on my cheeks.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I am 18 now and I have been taking this pill for 2 years now. Since I started taking it my periods, which were already normal to begin with, have significantly decreased. Now my periods last from 2 days to sometimes not at all. It's scary but reading some other reviews I find that this is common. I never had nausea, but I did have some increase in acne. This is still a good pill but I wish I would have a DEFINITE period each month.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: This birth control is awesome as far as its effectiveness with preventing unplanned pregnancy and increasing your bra cup size! The only draw back I would say is that the pill had me bleeding constantly. It wasn't light spot bleeding but full cycle bleeding maybe 80% of the time for the first 2 months on the pill. Other than the bleeding the pill is great with no other side effects.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I've read a lot of reviews on this birth control and everyone writes negative reviews so I'm going to give a positive one. I used to get very heavy 10-day periods before I went on this pill and I am now done to light to moderate 4 day periods and let me tell you, what a relief. I also used to get cramps so bad that sometimes I couldn't walk. Three months on this pill and the cramps had gone. I was 23 with horrible acne. I had it everywhere: cheeks, forehead, but especially on my chin. Three months after starting the pill and my skin cleared up tremendously. I hardly ever get a pimple but when I do its usually a small one around the time of my period. I gained no weight and my sex drive is as high as ever. I love this pill!

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Acne: I'm 19 years old, & I've taken Loestrin 24 Fe for 4 years now - I absolutely love it! From age 12 I had 9-10 day irregular, extremely heavy cycles. My cramps were so bad that I couldn't get out of bed & would start vomiting, & my acne was out of control. Once I turned 15 my mother suggested birth control. The first month was rough; I started the pack the day after my period ended & a week later had another full period. The next month was a drastic change - my period was 4 days, NO cramps & my skin has looked amazing ever since! Went from taking muscle relaxers for pain to an occasional Advil every few MONTHS! My insurance is great - 3 months for $22! That's less than $7.50/month! Sadly no increase in breast size, but no weight gain, either!

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Acne: First few months were fine, after 2 months I experienced mood swings, depression and the worst acne of my life which did not help with my depression at all!

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Acne: I started taking Lo Loestrin Fe about 2 months ago and I am breaking out horribly around my mouth and chin. I have always had acne but not that severe and it actually cleared up in the past year with the occasional pimple here and there....now I have cysts and white heads all over my chin that are not going away. I am finishing this pack and then calling my doctor to switch.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I took Loestrin 24 FE for five years and loved it! I had no weight gain, hardly any acne or mood swings, and absolutely no cramping. I started taking birth control because I was missing school due to cramps, so this was a significant benefit for me. The two problems are that I frequently missed periods, and that it was extremely expensive due to the absence of a generic.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I have been taking Loestrin for over 2 years now. I started taking when I was 18 because my periods made me miserable! Cramps for days, heavy bleeding, and it lasted longer than 7 days or sometimes my period didn't come at all. Another reason is I have had the same sexual partner for 4 years, and we have unprotected sex often. I have read a lot of the reviews and I can agree the first month was terrible, I hated it. But I gave it a chance and LOVE it. My periods are now maybe 2 days if I get one at all and very light. I have had no side effects!

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: Hey ladies! I started this birth control 2 weeks ago, and have so far experienced no symptoms whatsoever (good or bad). While I wouldn't have complained if my breasts grew a bit as a lot of girls have experienced, I am pretty relieved that I didn't have any negative side-effects. Things may change, but so far I have no complaints. Don't be scared by all the negative reviews. Just give it a go, and if it doesn't work for you, you can always try another.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I started taking Loestrin 24 to prevent pregnancy, not really knowing that birth control was supposed to clear your acne. I was considerably surprised when my skin cleared up [even on my back, which has always been a trouble area]. The first week or so was kind of rough but once I got past that, I felt incredible. I didn't experience any real weight gain or loss but I think I might have gone up half a cup or a whole cup size. I definitely love Loestrin.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I was on Loestrin 24 FE for about 7 months between 2011 and 2012. My doctor perscribed it as I have excessive cramping that makes me miss work due to such painful cramps I throw up. I was in the hospital once because I could not stop throwing up and needed an IV as I was so dehydrated. I also could not keep pain medication down so cramps would not go away. I started taking this medication. I noticed my period getting less and less painful and heavy every month. Some months I would not get a period! My doctor said this was normal. Why did I stop taking it? I have no clue. I must have been deranged at the time. I am starting this medication again and WILL NOT quit until I am ready for a baby. It's not birth control, it's CRAMP CONTROL!

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone): I used this pill for about 3 years. It was hard to adjust to at first but then as time went on my body adjusted. My chest went up a cup size which I did not mind. But I gained weight substantially. I noticed my attitude start to change drastically over the past 8 months. I would act like a crazy person for no reason. I would get upset and cry over things I would have never gotten mad about before. I accused my boyfriend of everything and eventually he couldn't take it and broke up with me because he thought that's how my personality really was. I was insecure and depressed. I began to think that I was bipolar but it was the birth control pills. I stopped taking them about a month ago and i already feel better.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Acne: I'm 22, and this is my first time being on birth control. At first I liked it because it regulated my period, and I went up a cup size, but that's the only positive experience I've had with this pill. I'm bloated around my midsection (I'm 5'6 and 107lbs and I look 2 months pregnant because of the bloating), my cramps are just as bad as they were off the pill, my breast hurt so bad and the biggest thing of all that I hate is that my face went from being flawless to severe acne EVERYWHERE! The pill is also expensive.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I recently switched off of this birth control after 10 months. I had no complaints for the first couple of months. My cup size increased from a 34B to a 36C. I am naturally prone to depression, so when I started to have suicidal ideation and deep depression I at first attributed it to my own mental state. After a few months, I finally realized that I consistently got my period in the week following the worst bouts of depression, leading me to believe that my birth control was at least partially responsible. I gained 20 pounds and experienced difficulty with motivation. I finally switched because I experienced two days of constant bleeding ("spotting") two weeks into my cycle for five months in a row.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I spotted for a few weeks at first, but it never happened again. I had short, 2 or 3 day periods, only minor cramps, no nausea--a huge one for me because I have a sensitive stomach, no moodiness, no weight gain. It was almost like not being on the pill at all, except that I immediately noticed that my generally clear skin was breaking out like CRAZY with really painful cystic acne. I assumed it was just an initial breakout and tried to wait it out, but I just recently quit after 4 months because I couldn't handle the horrible acne. I did a lot of research and it's progesterone is very androgenic and is known to cause acne. It's a shame because otherwise, it was PERFECT. Because that was my only side effect, I'd still recommend it though.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone): I've taken Loestrin 24 Fe for almost four years now. I love it! The only time I had side effects was when I first started it and my doctor recommended that I take two pills in one day - bad call. Aside from that, it's been great. I take it continuously (without the iron pills) and I stopped having periods after about a year. It's amazing not to have to deal with that every month. Everyone's body is different, but Loestrin works perfectly for me.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: After trying 4 different birth controls, I was ready to give up when my doctor recommended this. I do not get migraines. I did gain 5 lbs and it does make me very bloated. The cramps were very painful but anything over those massive migraines I used to get with the previous pills.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I love this birth control. It took a couple of months for my body to get used to it, but now it's amazing. My skin is clear, not perfect though. The 4 iron pills are amazing as well. My period is extra light and I enjoy the slight reassurance that I'm not pregnant. I give it a 10!

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I felt great on Loestrin 24 Fe during the first two months of use. My periods were just tiny bits of spotting and my acne cleared up entirely. During my third pack of pills, I had pregnancy symptoms during the second week of use that scared me: vivid dreams, bad nausea without vomiting, sensitivity to smells, heavy appetite, moodiness, and most distinct was the pain of breast tenderness. I had been pregnant before, so I was familiar with the feeling. Multiple pregnancy tests including a blood test at the doctor's eventually ruled out pregnancy. I was so stressed by the symptoms, but they turned out to be caused by the pill.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I have been on this pill for almost 2 months, being the first pill I've ever tried. I have no complaints in the effectiveness, when taken the same time every day, give or take 5 or 10 mins, it prevents pregnancy. However, I've unfortunately suffered the side effects, the first month I was spotting for about 2 weeks until my period which thankfully was now only 2 days long vs my previous heavy 5-7 days I normally had. I had intense headaches, nausea, and occasional mood swings. Another side effect that wasn't common (as far as I can see from these reviews, yet still possible) vaginal itching in this second month. It is bothersome. Yet, these side effects seem to be diminishing, I'm not complaining, this is just my body getting used to it.
