For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I've been on Sronyx for about 2 years. It is an incredible birth control for lighter periods and less pain. I have little to no back pain on this pill and before it I would have unbearable back pain. I really didn't experience any weight gain or physical changes. However, I noticed that my sex drive dropped completely. I have no sex drive and just have become overall not interested. I also have noticed that I feel almost flat in emotions as if my emotions are not very happy anymore. When I did try another BC brand, I noticed a significantly higher sex drive and better mood, but had extreme pain on it so I had to switch back to Sronyx. Sronyx is a great pill, but for me the flat moods and low sex drive have caused me to search for another brand where I can truly feel myself 100%."

For Birth Control "I started this birth control when I was 17. I got it from a private clinic at my high school. I wanted to be protected and feel safe while having sex. However, the nurse did not warn me on the horrible side effects. A while after I started to get UTIs something I never ever had before. That’s not the worse part. I started to have the worse anxiety ever. I was having anxiety attacks at night, insomnia, crying for NO reason, loss motivation. It was the worse stage in my life, I was going crazy. I even went to a therapist. I honestly believe that this birth control was causing all these mental problems. I have now stopped taking birth control. The side effects are not worth it I feel so much better now that I went off it."

For Birth Control "Wanted a low dose oral BC after being off for about a year & a half. Was rx'd Sronyx from PP. I wanted low dose because I've dealt with depression before. This pill made me absolutely crazy. I felt ok the first week but I've never been more irritable, moody & depressed. I've had anxiety & literally feel like another person. Can't wait for this to clear my system"

For Birth Control "After a few hours of taking the first pill, I felt slightly sick and sleepy. I woke up feeling down and took the next pill, about three hours later I was nauseous and sick to my stomach. I threw up after the 5 hours of nausea and finally felt a little better. On the third day I didn't take it because I was already feeling emotional and depressed, not to mention still sick and slightly week. A birth control pill has never affected me this way before."

For Birth Control "I have been on this birth control for about a year now. (I switched from Lo Loestrin because I was having bad side effects from that pill after being on it for 2 years) I really do not recommend Sronyx at all. There are zero positives to this birth control besides the fact that it prevents pregnancy. To start, I get horrible mood swings and anxiety the week before my period all the way through to the end of my period. I get massive migraines during my placebo pill week to the point where I have to just go to bed because it hurts to even look at light. Then, in between my period and starting a new month of pills, I get a yeast infection from the hormone imbalance. Other negatives include drying out my vagina which totally brings my sex drive down, bloating, and breaking out by my chin and jawline (which other reviews say also). Just overall bad. I can't wait to switch off of this one."

For Birth Control "I have been on Sronyx since giving birth for 6 months now. I noticed a crazy weight gain, my appetite has doubled and my mood change constantly. The good part is I have my period like a clock every month, lighter and for about 4-5 days."

For Birth Control "Hey! I even on Sronyx for about 9 months now and it's been an overall good experience. My acne level has stayed the same. My periods used to be heavy all the way through for 7-8 days and now it's only 5-6 along with it becoming much lighter. The only downfall is I gained 10 pounds which is very abnormal for me since I am very active. so far I havn't gotten pregnant but I didn't use a condom yesterday for the first time since I started using it so we'll see how that goes! Overall a good product!"

For Birth Control "I have only been using this for a little while and I constantly have bad headaches and drowsiness. This morning in the shower I lost my vision and felt like I was going to pass out so I think I'm going to stop taking these pills."

For Polycystic Ovary Syndrome "I have more headaches than usual and I am always bloated and hungry with non-stop cravings. The only good thing is that my periods go from light to barely there. I love that aspect. I never had any skin issues so that was not my concern. I take pills to regulate my cycle, which it does. But I can do without the headaches and weight gain."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I’m 43 year old black female and have been dealing with fibroids since 2013. I was told that the BCP would stop the bleeding. I would bleed for 90 days at a time and had to be put on iron pills and stool softener. I’ve been on them for over 4 months. Two days after I started them I started bleeding. Now I’m about to have a hysterectomy due to going from 1 fibroid to 7. They didn’t shrink at all. I got the last 5 in the last year. I did not break out, but did gain a lot of weight. My doctor wanted me to take them for another 12 months. I said to heck with that! Glad to be off these babies."

For Birth Control "I've been on Sronyx for about 2 years now and I love it. I trust this birth control and it has decreased my blood flow during my period. I used to have extremely heavy blood flow and extreme fatigue during my period. After I started Sronyx my period is light and I don't cramp as bad as I used to. I did see a change in my mood but I have managed to control it and not display the moods that I feel."

For Birth Control "I have been on Sronyx for 5 months now. I had Mirena previously which was a nightmare but that's another story. Since I started this pill I've had no problems or side-effects until recently. I am now constantly bloated, abdominal pain which varies, upset stomach and white vaginal discharge. I have no idea what has brought upon these symptoms but it is quite annoying. I have taken a pregnancy test just to rule out causes and test was negative. Overall this medication does serve its purpose and if no further problems I will continue to use it."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I have been taking this pill Sronyx for a year now. I had originally started to help regulate my cycle. The first three months were bad! My period was so heavy and a little over 2 weeks long. I asked my doctor for advise and she told me my body just needed to get used to the pill. So I continued to take it. My periods are about 7-9 days they still are not predictable, moderate amount of bleeding, however very painful cramping. I have headaches frequently and have noticed bloating. I also have bad breakouts around the time of my period like cystic acne. Overall did not really help me with what I needed so would not recommend."

For Birth Control "I have been on these pills since May 2017 and I haven't had side effects but I would tell you to take them on time every day because you will have break through bleeding and it can last from a few days to a few weeks but one this that I can say it that I have lost weight and I don't have crazy cravings, no tender breast, and no headaches ... this has been my first time on BC and I have had a great experience!!!!!"

For Birth Control "Within the past year I've swapped birth control 3 times. All in all, I must say the 2 years that I used Sronyx, I had 0 complaints! If I did gain weight, it was minimal, my periods came like clockwork.. to the point I could almost gauge the hour it would start. I changed from it being ambitious in the hopes of not having to deal with something everyday. Worst mistake ever."

For Birth Control "I took this medication for 2 years and found little trouble with it. Occasionally I would have longer periods, but more often than not I wouldn't have one at all. On average, I'd say I had a period every 2 months and every 4th period lasted for a week. I took this as an alternative to most birth controls, which were giving me migraines. This one only gave me a slight headache around the last couple days of the inactive pills and the first couple of days starting a new month, but nothing too terrible."

For Birth Control "I'm getting married in 3 months and did not want to get pregnant before the wedding. Usually I do family planning for birth control and that has worked out great. But me and my fiancé have been having unprotected sex a lot so I decided to go on the pill until the wedding. I started Sunday and it has been a NIGHTMARE! I started crying about the smallest things, which is so abnormal for me. I have never been the emotional type. This began on Day 3. By day 5, I was truly depressed and yelling at my fiancé because he fell asleep before I made it back from the store to help me with my bags. Day 6 is when I came to the realization and started reading about the side effects. For such a small pill, it does a lot of damage. Please do not take this."

For Birth Control "At first Sronyx birth control was okay I had no symptoms the first week, the second week my face broke out in cystic acne on my cheeks. I’ve been battling with trying to clear it up it’s so ugly and I’ve never broke out on my cheeks now it’s leaving scarring, to add insult to injury it made me gain 5-7lbs apparently. I’ve since then stopped taking it and still dealing with the acne I had. But the only positive is that it made my period lighter, and bearable. For once in an entire year I didn’t have to change my clothes a thousand times."

For Birth Control "I am a 23-year-old and I actually came here to see if people were having the side effects I was. I have been on the pill for 2 weeks and three days! That’s how quickly it took for me to have crazy paranoia and anxiety. I went to the ER because I was convinced I had a blood clot only for it to be symptoms caused by anxiety. I have chest pains, neck pains, and arm and leg pain. They tested me for DVT and Pulmonary Embolism. Nothing! But that was three days ago and I still feel like I’m gonna die. I’m super dizzy and my right leg swells a little. I stopped immediately because I feel if I kept going I was going to end up with DVT or worse. Just please be careful."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was prescribed Sronyx due to my prolonged period. May 7th I had began to spot & that lead to a long heavy period until today, June 3rd. I went to my OBGYN on May 28th, confirmed non pregnancy and began the BC pills the next day on May 29th. I want to note that I take my pills exactly between 6:30pm and 7pm with a meal. On the first day of taking this BC, I noticed a change in my mood which I'd become very relaxed and calm within the first 30 minutes & fell asleep around 9pm to be awaken by sharp painful stomach pains by 2am & bad gas TMI- had diarrhea but noticed on my maxiPad, that my period had restricted to a lighter flow & was no longer bright red. Next day my flow slowed down to spotting by the end of the night, same calm mood change as the day before, no stomach pains but noticed some bloating & nausea until I ate more food. I spotted less and less each day until this morning- All Clear :)!! so that marks 5 days for this BC pill to help get my prolonged period under control."

For Birth Control "I've been in the pill about 3 months , I switched from Nuvaring which was a nightmare so at first I was glad there were way less strong side effects. However I started birth control pills at 140lbs 3 months later I now weigh 157 . I am constantly bloated and I want to eat like I'm pregnant all the time. I also experience extreme mood swings which I'm sure are because of the pill ( my boyfriend noticed too) My sex drive is almost non existent on top of severe vaginal dryness. I also have cramps every time I get up suddenly , which although they are way less painful than the Nuvaring ones they are constant. Lets just say I'm getting off this pill next month & definitely excited ."

For Birth Control "Was switched to this and had no problems at first. Then after a few months, started having break through bleeding between periods. Went back to the doctor and he determined that there were not enough hormones in this birth control pill for me. This pill has a very low dose of hormones. I suppose if I could not find something better, then I would go back to this."

For Birth Control "I'm taking Spronyx now after switching from Lo Loestrin Fe and It's only been 2 weeks and I'm already noticing major side effects. Vaginal dryness, itchiness, burning... Pain while urinating and just overall discomfort. I hate it I'm going to make an appointment soon."
