For Birth Control "So far I have been using this birth control for 1 month 2 weeks now. This is my first birth control. I'm 21 and ever since my period (before birth control) I've had bad crapping, vomiting sometimes, and nausea. Also I had irregular periods that last 10 days sometimes more. Now with this birth control I have regular periods (along with the help of iron pills prescribed by my obgyn) . I have no breakouts. No throwing up nothing. Did have slight headaches in the first week of use but it's gone now and NO BABIES.. (don't drink or smoke)."

For Birth Control "I have been on Sronyx for over four years now. Even from the very beginning I have not experienced any negative side effects with one exception (spotting in between periods has happened three times before, but nothing major). I know birth control affects each woman differently. My personal experience with Sronyx has been a very positive one. I have had no mood swings, no cramps during period, no heavy periods, no problems with weight/acne, and no changes in sex drive. I give it a nine out of ten only because of the occasional spotting in between periods."

For Birth Control "I have used Sronyx for three months now. Have not changed my diet or exercise, and have gained about 8 lbs. I was on Loestrin for a year and a half, but lost my health insurance. This is what the county health clinic gave me."

For Birth Control "This was my first time trying birth control (I’m in my 30’s). The first month, I occasionally (not every single day) experienced nausea/queasiness in the mornings upon waking up. It would go away if I distracted myself with something. I’m in my third month of being on it now. I did gain 5-7 pounds over the past couple months. No big deal- just need to exercise more often. Zero side effects otherwise! Sex drive high, no nausea, no mental side effects, absolutely love having no periods, drastic reduction in migraine frequency, overall ... this BC is fantastic in my experience. Give it a chance (and keep in mind....any queasiness went away after first few weeks)."

For Birth Control "Listen, do not take this pill it literally is absolute utter garbage. My breasts feel like they are getting naruto kicked every day, my cramps are worse than before I took it, my periods are super irregular, it’s made my acne worse and don’t even get me started on how this pill has made me actually psycho. if you have depression or anxiety I don’t suggest taking this because it will make it so much worse."

For Birth Control "I was put on Sronyx in January, first time being on birth control, and I just started my forth month pack. I was nervous about being put on this birth control because of all the negative reviews I read about it. So I can say that I was a little timid. DON'T LET THE BAD REVIEWS SCARE YOU. After 4 months, I haven't had not one bad side affects with this birth control. I haven't gained weight. My acne hasn't gotten worse. My periods went from heavy 6 days to very like 3 days. I was a cramp sufferer during my period since I started for the first time at the age of 13 (I am now 28), to the point where there was a few times I was almost rushed to the ER for them and I haven't had any cramps whatsoever ever since being on this. Give it a chance!"

For Birth Control "I have gained 10 pounds. Doesn't affect my mood but does affect my sex drive a little. Went from a C cup to a double D. Sounds lovely but my breasts hurt most days out of the week. I eat way more then I used to. "

For Birth Control "The only good thing I can say about this pill is that I haven't gotten pregnant on it. My acne has gotten three times worse. Off the pill, I usually got one or two cysts around the time of my period, which was annoying but manageable. Ever since taking Sronyx, I get one or two new cysts almost daily. My mood swings are insane. My period comes at the same time every month, which I would thank Sronyx for if it didn't make me start bleeding two weeks before my period every month (so I essentially have been bleeding for two and a half weeks every month on this pill). I've heard that breakthrough bleeding can be common within the first three cycles of starting a new pill...if it continues after this cycle (my fourth) I'll definitely switch BC."

For Birth Control "I was put on this birth control when I had to go to an army hospital and they didn't have the one I was already taking (Minastrin 24, which was great)! The doctor said Syronx was the same as Minastrin 24, which was a lie. The first month of the syronx was okay, just a little more moody than usual and I thought I can handle that. The end of the second month was HORRIBLE. My acne was the worst it has ever been. I got acne here and there, mostly around the time of my period. This was something else, they were inflamed, painful hormonal acne all on my jawline and neck. My moodiness increased so much to the point my husband and I were arguing about the littlest things and he didn't even want to talk to me anymore and I kept bawling my eyes out."

For Birth Control "PLEASE DO NOT take this contraceptive. it made me gain 25 pounds in 3 short months. I did not change my eating habits and had actually been burning more calories than before I started it. I constantly had a migraine and was stressed out and depressed. I knew I immediately needed to do something. At first I thought that it was just my hormones not adjusting, but I have had more acne with this, headaches, and so much unbelievable weight gain. I do not recommend!"

For Birth Control "I didn’t want the reviews to sway my opinion on this medication, so I decided to take it anyways. I’ve been on it for about a month, and I’m getting off of it tonight. I have OCD/anxiety, and nothing has ever made my depression and anxiety so bad. I have zero energy, and headaches every single day, I wake up several times throughout the night sweating, and wake up almost every hour. As soon as I wake up I get this overwhelming feeling of wanting to cry. I’m not an emotional person, but I’ve cried at least once every day on this pill from how miserable it’s made me. I lost 10 lbs, completely lost my appetite for a week, and was so dehydrated I had to go to the ER. I figured the pill must be the culprit due to the overwhelming amount of similar reviews and I pray I feel back to normal after a couple of days. I’m never taking this pill again, you couldn’t pay me a million bucks too."

For Birth Control "I had never taken any type of birth control until I met my fiancee. I was on Implanon for almost 11 months and I hated it! I had all the side effects that came with it, plus my period for all those months non-stop and to say I almost ruined my relationship and to top it off I got an infection for using tampoms all the time. Anyway today is my 5 day taking Sronyx and I already feel great no side effects what so ever. I'm happy again without any mood swings. I really recommend this pill."

For Birth Control "I have been taking this birth contorl for just over 6 months now. I am so ready to find a different one. I never had headaches until I started taking this pill. I experience them at least three times a week now. This pill has made me constantly crave sweet junk food. Hello weight gain! I also have been extremely emotional. I feel depressed about everything and I feel like crying more often than not. Not the pill for me!"

For Birth Control "I am 19 years old and have been on this birth control Sronyx for about two years. In the first 3 months I gained 15 pounds which has never happened in my life. I have always been an active athlete so weight gain had never been a problem until then. Thankfully, it was all water weight son I lost it all in about 2 weeks after working really hard at the gym. My periods are short (about 3 days) and light. However, this birth control has made me an emotional wreck. Anxiety, depression, paranoia, is all through the roof. I cry like 3 times a day for no reason. I have always been a healthy, happy-go-lucky girl and this birth control has completely changed me for the worst. I am always in a horrible mood and forget what its like to be genuinely happy. I am going to get this switched ASAP and hopefully I will return to my normal self soon. I wish I hadn't taken it for so long. It took me a while to realize that it was my birth control causing these issues. I thought I was becoming actually depressed."

For Birth Control "I've been on Sronyx for about 4 weeks now. The 2nd week into it I was extremely moody and emotional. I've always been physically active, but lately its made me lethargic. It definitely increased my appetite and now that I'm on my fourth week, I'm extremely bloated."

For Birth Control "I have been on this pill for about 3 1/2 months. I only had breakthrough bleeding the first month, and I never experienced nausea. I had small headaches, but those didn't bother me. However, over the past 2 1/2 months, I have been the most depressed, fatigued, and angry I have ever been in my entire life. I don't want to do anything or see friends or family, and it only lessens when I'm on my placebo week, so I know this isn't a coincidence anymore. "

For Birth Control "The first time I started using birth control I started on a different pill which I can't remember the name but stopped after the second month due to crazy mood swings and worse cramps during my period. When I went back to the doctor I got prescribed Sronyx and I have been using it for three months now and I have yet to experience a bad side effect. I love this pill! I highly recommend it . No headaches, cramps, or mood swings. "

For Birth Control "My experience with this pill is good and bad, after reading everyones comments I realize that I am more moody and tired. I also wanna cry over the smallest things. I too have lost 15 lbs on this pill (weight I could not afford to lose by the way) and my appetite has severely dropped. But my periods are on the exact day everyone month, and my acne is gone except for the week of my period. "

For Birth Control "I have been taking Sronyx for about a year now and it's been pretty a good to me. I am a bit more moody, and my appetite has increased a little with this pill (I've gained 10 pounds, but managed to lose 5). But, overall this is a good pill. It cleared up my acne and the appetite increase is manageable. I would recommend this pill."

For Birth Control "This is my first month on this name brand. Before I used Lessina, which I used for one year and my pharmacist said it's the same pill under a different name. I have much lighter periods with almost non-existent cramps. My periods are 1 day shorter. I do have a light PMS for about a week before hand, which doesn't thrill me, but it's worth the trade off. I have no emotional side effects, and my sex drive seems the same. I still have good vaginal lubrication, which was an issue for me with a different birth control, so I am happy about that. My weight has been up and down my whole life, so I can't blame the birth control. I'm a happy camper with Sronyx. I wish it was cheaper, though. "

For Birth Control "Before taking sronyx I used to take loestrin 24 fe and I had no problems with that I enjoyed it ..my doctor prescribed me sronyx recently and as soon as I took this bc I gained about 5 lbs the first month even though I exercise for almost 2 hours 4-5 times a week and my appetite has increased ...I have never felt so hungry to the point where i feel like I'm going to snap! My stomach growls also from so much hunger even though I ate 1-2 hours before!! This pill made me so irritable and angry at everyone around me ! I hate this pill , I am switching !"

For Birth Control "I recommend not taking this medication!! I wake up in the middle of the night with nausea and vomiting, breast tenderness that hurts soooooo bad and also it raised my blood pressure. I had perfect blood pressure until I started taking this medicine. It makes me feel dizzy, I just didn't feel like myself at all."

For Birth Control "The first 3 months on Sronyx were very difficult. I've now been on it for a year and overall I don't like it. I have bad headaches once a month, my skin is always breaking out, and my overall mood is flat."

For Birth Control "I’ve been using Syronx for 11 years now and I wouldn’t use any other BC pill. Short, light periods are great (3 days max). I’ve never had any pregnancy scares. Weight gain was minimal (maybe 5 lbs) and I think it actually cleared up my acne or it’s because I was getting older. On other pills, I would be EXTREMELY moody but not on Syronx (maybe just one day before my period, but I think that is normal PMS). Highly recommended"
