Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: I am 27 years old, and started taking Beyaz a few months ago. I was extremely hesitant about taking this because I was so, -SO- afraid of gaining weight. I have taken other pills in the past that have caused weight gain, nausea, bloating, etc, but this pill has proven me wrong, I have had no side effects, it's actually a bit shocking. So glad my doctor recommended this to me.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: I was taking Yaz, but then for whatever reason the company added something to change it to Beyaz. Yaz was seriously a saint for me. Amazing periods, not hormonal at all, great skin, the works! I've been on Beyaz for over a month now, and I have not cried this much since I broke up with the love of my life over a year ago, and I have zero control of my emotions and how I feel.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: I love Beyaz. The only side effects I have experienced is increase in breast size, increased sex drive and clearer skin. I would strongly recommend trying it. And definitely ask your doctor for the Bayer savings card that makes your first prescription $5 and only $25 for the rest of your prescriptions. I have no prescription insurance coverage so it is fantastic for me because I will never have to pay over $25. Hopefully it is as great for you as it is to me!

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder: I have been on Beyaz for 2 months now, I have had problems with other birth controls in the past such as large amounts of weight gain, moodiness, etc. I haven't had any of these problems with Beyaz, in fact, I haven't gained ANY weight on it! It has helped my PMDD greatly, I went from having cramps that would knock out an elephant to having almost no cramping at all, and I don't get moody or bloated like I have on other birth controls.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: The birth control pills I tried before Beyaz made me so emotionally crazy. My academics and social life crumbled to pieces. After stopping those pills my Gyno suggested Beyaz since I have a history of anxiety and depression, and I am SO glad he did. Because of my history and how hormones mess with those conditions, if Beyaz had the same mentally severe side effects I would be forced to forgo birth control altogether. But now my life is back on track and I deal with no emotional or hormonal effects from this pill, no nausea, no weight gain, and only headaches that went away after 2 - 3 months. Thank you BEYAZ.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I've been on Beyaz for about a month and a half after getting off of the Depo shot. I do notice breast tenderness sometimes but it seems to be clearing up my face and I am actually less emotional than usual. The one thing that I have noticed that isn't listed as a side effect of this birth control but can occur with other types is night sweats. I've never had this in my life until a week after I went on Beyaz. All I can figure is that it was too rare of a side effect in the studies that it didn't make it into the side effects list.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: Love BEYAZ. I was taking YAZ and LOVED that too. I do have breast tenderness with this pill and haven't with other pills in the past. I still give it a 10 because I feel great on this pill.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I took myself off birth control a year ago and felt better than I have in years. I developed an ovarian cyst and my Gyno strongly recommended birth control for treatment. I was very hesitant/concerned about going back on birth control, particularly because I have been training for a marathon. The first month I was on Beyaz, my symptoms were mild and my cyst went away, but 2 months and 3 months went by and my symptoms got much worse. Depression, weight gain, no sex drive and my marathon training went downhill fast.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: I had been on Yaz for close to a year and was using the Bayer card program to get my refills for $25. With the intro of Beyaz into the market, Bayer no longer offers the discounted price for Yaz, so my OBGYN switched me over so I could continue to use my savings card. Since Beyaz is the EXACT same as Yaz, just with folate, I expected to feel no different. SO WRONG! I am SO moody on Beyaz, fine one day and insane the next, crying for no reason, terrible all day headaches, and breaking out. I was NEVER like that on Yaz! Luckily my pharmacy has kept both prescriptions active so I can switch back to Yaz and just buy the generic. I miss paying $25 but I will pay $59 to be sane.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder: I have been taking Beyaz for about 6 months now. I had PMDD extremely bad for 2- 3 weeks out of the month. A month after starting Beyaz I had no symptoms at all. I had irregular periods and now they are on time every month. I am very happy with the results and I would recommend Beyaz to anyone. Especially if they experience PMDD.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: I was on Loestrin FE for 5 years and I was also diagnosed with bi-polar disorder while I was in high school. Loestrin worked for a little bit but I gained 20 pounds quick. I still had sexual desire mentally but my body wouldn't react and I was always too tired or to moody or to emotional. And since I've been on it for a while the side effects seemed like they hit me a second time and it was like my period was playing peek-a-boo with me. But 3 months ago I switched to Beyaz and I've never been more happy and more...well....attacking my fiance. I give Beyaz a 10 and highly recommend it! And I'm 20.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: I was on Yaz a few years ago until I couldn't afford it anymore. I absolutely loved it. My face was clear, my period was light and it worked magic on my ABSOLUTELY UNBEARABLE cramps. I've been on Beyaz for a month now and I am not really seeing the same things I saw with Yaz just yet. I was really nauseous for the first two weeks, my face is still breaking out (not because of the pill), cramps aren't bad but have not disappeared and my sex drive has decreased. I'm hoping this is just for the first month and things get better down the line.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: I have been on Beyaz for only 5 days. My doctor recommended it knowing that I am a smoker, but I'm only 25. I already had a tubal ligation so Beyaz is for hormones and acne. I feel very nauseous and have severe migraines, loss of appetite extremely tired, also I have a nasty taste in my mouth that just won't go away no matter how much I brush floss or mouthwash. I'm not sure if I could handle these side effects being a 2 and 3, working full time I have to have the most energy as possible. These side effects don't help.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Acne: I have seen an improvement in my skin after only a week being on Beyaz.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Acne: I was on Yaz for years. Even if I would skip a week or two on it, my face would start breaking out and literally within three days of taking Yaz my face would be crystal clear again. I completely went off the pill for a year due to prices, but now just went back on to BeYaz since it is cheaper and supposed to be the same thing. I've been waiting it out for three months, hoping I would improve- but my ance is actually getting WAY worse! I thought Yaz and Beyaz had the same ingredients...did I become immune to the effects.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: I've been on Beyaz for almost a month now. I really like it. So far I've had no side effects. THATS GREAT. I was on two other birth controls and they made me gain weight and made my acne get ten times worse and did not help my cramps and I got badly depressed. Since taking Beyaz my acne has not gone away completely but has not got worse. I have not had any side effects so far. I love it.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: I went on Beyaz 3 months ago and just finished the third pack. I was noticing that I was always tired, nauseous, bloated, stomach pains, and eating all the time. I too thought I was in the early stages of pregnancy because of these symptoms. I started taking the pill because of horrible period cramps that would make me so sick and incapable of doing anything, it helped. Then I started getting really depressed out of nowhere, feeling sad for no reason, trapped in my own body and then that led to anxiety attacks and anxiety about when is the next time I will have this terrible feeling again. Because of that and not being able to sleep I am done with this pill! Thanks to everyone for sharing, I feel comforted to know I wasn't going crazy.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I had never taken birth control until last year. I started on Loestrin and it was okay until the 3rd month when I started cramping almost every day. I started Beyaz after that and am into my third month of it. My periods have been longer and a lot more heavy. I get nauseated all the time now no matter the time of day and I'm not pregnant. I get hungry more frequently and have gained some weight. I also have a lot of headaches. I'm going to try something new again. Beyaz just isn't for me.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: I've been on Yaz for years, and like most people I switched to Beyaz because of the saving card. I've only been on it for a month. I have NOT stopped bleeding/spotting since I got my last period. I've tried different birth control over the years and I NEVER had this problem before. If this is the same as Yaz I don't understand why I'm having this issue. I thought about trying it another month, but I'm not sure I can handle bleeding for 60 days if this continues.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: I just finished month 2 of Beyaz and am hoping things get better after month 3. I have had just about every side effect that has been listed except for the mood swings. I have gained quite a bit of weight. In the first few weeks of taking Beyaz I was very nauseous and vomited a few times. I have daily headaches. I have zero sex drive and the thought of sex makes me ill when I am usually very sexually active. Thank goodness I have an understanding partner. I am unbelievably tired no matter how much sleep I get. I normally have acne on a regular basis but it hasn't gotten worse but I am patiently waiting for it to get better. I will continue to take Beyaz as recommended by my doctor for at least another 2 months and hope things get better.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: I have been on Beyaz for a little over a week and I feel like a crazy person. Like so many of the comments I've read, I also switched from Yaz to Beyaz after its Bayer Saver's Program expired. Now I have headaches almost daily and am extremely moody. It's terrible.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: I was taking Yaz and it worked amazing for me but about 2 months ago I was put on Beyaz and have had a yeast infection both months. I have not had sex in over 6 months, this is the only possible explanation for my yeast infections.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control: I previously took Lo Loestrin and had depression, breakthrough bleeding and just a general feeling of blah. My MD switched me to Beyaz, and those feelings are gone. And, as a benefit, somehow or another I have lost like 8 lbs in the past month. OF course I exercise regularly, and eat right, but seem to have less of an appetite. Love this pill!
