"So far so good makes me really sleepy but I'm eating like I'm pregnant with twins I absolutely love it so far because all I'm doing is eating and laying around and you no what that does weight gain I'm so ready to see the results by my birthday"

"I have struggled with low weight and bony/arms since childhood, which made me very uncomfortable around others. My inability to gain weight now is impaired by the ADHD stimulant medications; they completely wipe away your appetite. As for the cyproheptadine, I remember having amazing results and my body "filled in" for the first time, only thing is that if you take SSRI antidepressants, cyproheptadine to simply put it is a 5-HT (serotonin) antagonist. In addition to the cypro, I also take Marinol and Zyprexa, all of which should significantly increase ones appetite for sure."

"After seeing all these reviews, I really thought I would gain weight too. Well, its been 1 week and I felt really sleepy for 3 days and I looked as if I had gained weight on my face. I was really happy but after 4th day I think the weight gain on my face disappeared. I feel hungry after 1 pm. I want to eat something all the time but I don't think I gaining weight. I'm thinking about increasing the pills dosage to 3 times a day now!"

"Cyproheptadine I have been taking for about 2 years after you have reach your weight gain once you stop taking it you will lose weight just as fast as you put on. If you have been taking cyproheptadine for as long as I have it will stop working for you. It will also make you very sleepy ."

"I started taking this well over a year now it's amazing! I've always been under my BMI weight when I first started taking the syrup, I was 5'6 and weighed 6 pounds 11 stone at the age of 22 and after having my 1st baby. A year on I weighed 8st but when I became pregnant I started loosing all my weight due to morning sickness. After 3 months of constant morning sickness I decided to try and start taking apetamin again! And it's fantastic, not only is it completely helping me with my morning sickness it's helping me put on weight and keep it on which can only be a good thing for my baby. I hope this is helpful for any other pregnant mothers who are loosing weight dramatically due to morning sickness, there is hope."

"All my life I've been a "grazer" as my mum has said, so I've always stayed the same weight, I'm 33 & 5ft 9" now and went through a rough patch due to stress and illness and went down from 70kg to 62kg rapidly. I've used a lot of protein powders to try and gain, but really my diet, lifestyle and not getting enough calories in me is the problem. So I thought I'd look into other possibilities that people who suffer with no appetite and after a bit of searching I found Cyro-Vita which is the brand here, 6 days in and I've not weighed myself yet, however I'm finishing off large meals with ease and feel hungry all the time, which is a big deal for me, first night 4mg, I slept for 16hrs, so went down to 2mg before bed from then on all good!"

"I suffer from depression and anxiety. Being stressed 24 hours a day. I had no appetite what so ever. My new Dr prescribed Cyproheptadine to increase my appetite. I've taken it for only one week so far. A bit sleepy at first, but now that I've gotten pass the sleepiness. I actually eat all day long. I can see the weight coming on, and I love it. Can't wait to look in the mirror and see thickness, instead of skin and bones. I will be taking this until my Dr. says otherwise. I'm 108lb right now. Anxious to get up to my ideal weight of 130lbs. Thanks Cyproheptadine. You are a Life Saver"

"Was on the drug last May, and in 3 weeks i gained 30 pounds. I stopped because i was comfortable with the weight I had gained and have been off since June and have maintained my weight over the past 3 months. Was drowsy the first 3 days but it went away. Would recommend to anyone trying to gain weight but I wouldn’t recommend it long term."

Periactin (cyproheptadine) "This by far is the best and safest way to gain weight and still be healthy. The pros it help with my allergies. I went from 130 to 147lb in two weeks. This has always been the pill I would take if I was stressed and lost a little weight. I hope this helps"

"Wow, just wow. This pills are magic. I had problems with trying to gain weight for years and I was always skinny. I've been taking them for 2 weeks and I gained 21lbs, mauling that fridge like a bear. For example: I used to struggle with one plate of rice, now I can eat 3 plates of rice and still get hungry after 1 hour like I didn't eat for whole day. Even helped me finally get a good night sleep, they helped me being more fearless and confident ( I don't know how :D ). But definitely the biggest downside is that these pills made me constantly tired and sleepy throughout the day. I could barely even function and sometimes I even looked like I was drunk. Anyways I recommend to anyone that has weight gain and sleeping struggles."

"I eventually thought my weight probs were over, I was High as a kite and couldn't wait to start taking them after reading all the Positives about them, alas, it was the most disappointing thing thats happened to me,They did NOTHING for me,not even the Sleepiness occurred that people posted about.I just decided to be determined and eat as much as I could, But as much as eat I'm still stuck on 8 stone,4 st less than my norm.I can only assume it is other Meds I'm on that is Blocking them from working,So Despondent."

"I had been a very poor eater naturally until when I was introduced to this pill by my sister. I have used it for a half a month now, yes I'm eating seriously. I'm very much happy. But I'm I think I have stomach ulcers, and I have been experiencing belching more so at night. I don't know if it's a side effect or not because it makes me uncomfortable belching and also my stomach bloating."

"I bought this drug coz I had heart problems making it so hard to eat so one day I just asked around for appetite tablets and I got cyproheptadine. I drank three tablets for three consecutive days and that time I was really skinny too then I stopped because of dry mouth, being irritable and oversleeping, lockdown started and my appetite didn't change and when it ended I couldn't believe how curvy I had become. Everyone was talking about my body I got amazing curves almost overnight my intention wasn't really to gain weight I just wanted to eat normally but I'm glad I got the best side effect of it"

"This is the only thing that has worked for my poor appetite! I've always struggled with having little to no appetite and feeling like I was "too thin".
