Adding AniMed™ Pure Corn Oil to a horse’s diet will increase diet energy density. The purpose of increasing diet energy density is to increase energy intake and/or decrease the amount of feed needed to provide energy needs to aid in increasing athletic performance, milk production, reproductive efficiency, or growth rate. AniMed™ Pure Corn Oil also aids in maintaining or increasing body weight during hot and humid weather and/or when energy needs are high.

AniMed™ Pure Corn Oil may also be added to a horse’s diet to prevent fine material such as vitamin and mineral supplements from sifting through the feed to the bottom of the feed bucket.

The high amount of energy needed by horses during growth, lactation, training, or use generally necessitates an increase in their diet’s energy density so that a sufficient amount of dietary energy can and will be eaten.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS:

The amount of corn oil added to feed should be adjusted to meet the individual horse’s energy density need. This amount should not exceed 3 gallons to 100 pounds of grain.
