Recommended Uses
Nutritional supplement for calves to replenish electrolyte salts at shipping, during fluid loss, for intestinal upset, as management during hot weather and to reduce shrink, in conjunction with veterinary therapy, and other times listed nutrients, electrolytes and beneficial microbial cultures are desired.
Feeding Directions
Enclosed scoop holds 50 grams filled level to rim.
During hot weather: Mix 25 grams powder with 2 quarts warm water fed between milk feedings.
Dehydrated calves or calves with diarrhea: Mix 50 grams powder with 2 quarts warm water. Feed 1.5 quarts to calves under 90 pounds body weight or 2 quarts for calves up to 250 pounds bodyweight, twice daily or as a drench or with a stomach tube. For calves being fed milk, allow at least 1/2 hour between electrolyte feeding and milk feeding. For best results, alternate electrolyte and milk feedings evenly during the day.
