Hazards to Humans and Domestic Animals

Warning

Humans: Causes substantial but temporary eye injury. Do not get in eyes or on skin or clothing. Wear goggles or face shield. Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through skin. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum or using tobacco. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

General Precautions And Use Restrictions

Apply this product only as specified on the label. DO NOT contaminate food or feedstuffs. DO NOT apply to pets less than 12 weeks of age. Consult a veterinarian before applying this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals. Certain medications can interact with pesticides. Consult a veterinarian before using on medicated animals. Sensitivities may occur after using ANY pesticide for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately.

First Aid

IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

IF SWALLOWED: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

This product is toxic to aquatic organisms, including fish and invertebrates. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash-water or rinsate. See Directions for Use for additional precautions and use restrictions.

Directions For Use

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

READ ENTIRE LABEL BEFORE EACH USE. USE ONLY ON DOGS, PUPPIES, CATS AND KITTENS OVER 12 WEEKS OF AGE.

Read and follow all directions and precautions on the product label.

For use on dogs, puppies, cats and kittens over the age of 12 weeks for the control of fleas, ticks and lice. Thoroughly soak animal with warm water taking 2-3 minutes to wet hair. Apply ADAMS™ Flea & Tick Shampoo on head and ears and lather. Then repeat procedure with neck, chest, middle and hindquarters, finishing with legs last and paying special attention to the footpads (between the toes) and underbody areas. Wash head and ears carefully, making sure to keep shampoo out of the animal’s eyes. Fully lather animal and let remain for 3-5 minutes before rinsing animal thoroughly with warm water. NOTE: This final step is an important part of grooming procedure. In addition, follow application with a complete brushing of the animal’s hair to remove dead insects. Reapply every 2 weeks.

Storage And Disposal

Storage

Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage and disposal.

Pesticide Storage: Store this product in a cool, dry, well-ventilated (preferably locked) area away from heat or open flame that is inaccessible to pets and children.

Pesticide Disposal: If empty: Do not reuse this container. Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drains.
