Symptom Checker

Step 4: Read and complete the decision guide to learn more about your symptoms.

Fever in Infants

Your baby has fever and vomiting but no diarrhea, and no signs of other infections.

Call your doctor today to go over your baby's symptoms and decide whether and when an office visit makes sense. Although they are most usually seen in viral gastroenteritis, fever and vomiting alone can sometimes be the only symptoms of a urinary tract infection, pneumonia, or even (in rare cases) a more serious infection like meningitis.
