Patients that have been treated with pegcetacoplan should let their doctor know before receiving allogeneic processed thymus tissue. Depending on the dose and length of time they have been on pegcetacoplan, they may be at risk for reduced effects of allogeneic processed thymus tissue. Their doctor may already be aware of the risks, but has determined that this is the best course of treatment and has taken appropriate precautions and is monitoring closely for any potential complications. Patients should contact their doctor if their symptoms worsen or their condition changes during treatment with these medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
