Fibricor (fenofibric acid) is a peroxisome proliferator receptor alpha (PPARĪ±) activator indicated to reduce triglyceride levels in patients with severe hypertriglyceridemia, and to reduce elevated total cholesterol, LDL, and increase HDL in patients with primary hyperlipidemia or mixed dyslipidemia.
