Reason for the Shortage
    • Amneal has meropenem injection available.
    • AuroMedics has meropenem injection available.
    • BBraun has meropenem injection available.
    • Fresenius Kabi has meropenem injection available.
    • Pfizer has Merrem on shortage due to manufacturing delays. Meropenem 500 mg and 1 gram vials in 25 count were discontinued in February 2020.
    • Sagent discontinued meropenem injection.
    • Sandoz has meropenem injection available. Sandoz discontinued 500 mg and 1 gram vials in 25 count.
    • WG Critical Care launched meropenem in April 2020.
