Drug Interactions between solriamfetol and Uribel Tabs
This report displays the potential drug interactions for the following 2 drugs:
- solriamfetol
- Uribel Tabs (benzoic acid/hyoscyamine/methenamine/methylene blue/phenyl salicylate)
Interactions between your drugs
methylene blue solriamfetol
Applies to: Uribel Tabs (benzoic acid / hyoscyamine / methenamine / methylene blue / phenyl salicylate) and solriamfetol
Using solriamfetol together with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) like methylene blue is not recommended. Combining these medications can cause blood pressure to get dangerously high, which may be a medical emergency. Serious and potentially life-threatening problems can occur. Generally, you should wait at least 14 days after you stop using an MAOI before you start using solriamfetol. Check with your healthcare provider before you start using solriamfetol if you have been receiving methylene blue. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
Drug and food interactions
hyoscyamine food
Applies to: Uribel Tabs (benzoic acid / hyoscyamine / methenamine / methylene blue / phenyl salicylate)
Ask your doctor before using hyoscyamine together with ethanol (alcohol). Use alcohol cautiously. Alcohol may increase drowsiness and dizziness while you are taking hyoscyamine. You should be warned not to exceed recommended dosages and to avoid activities requiring mental alertness. If your doctor prescribes these medications together, you may need a dose adjustment to safely take this combination. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
