Interactions between your drugs

immune globulin intravenous yellow fever vaccine

Applies to: Sandoglobulin (immune globulin intravenous) and Stamaril (yellow fever vaccine)

Immune globulin intravenous may interfere with the immune response to yellow fever vaccine. A person who has been treated with immune globulin intravenous should generally not be vaccinated for several months with a live vaccine. If vaccination was given shortly before or after immune globulin intravenous, a revaccination may be necessary. The immunizing doctor should be informed of recent therapy with immune globulin intravenous so that appropriate measures and/or precautions can be taken. It is important to tell the doctor about all other medications being used, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to the doctor.
