If you are currently being treated or are going to begin treatment with nivolumab, you should let your doctor know before receiving talimogene laherparepvec. You may be at risk for developing an infection from talimogene laherparepvec or have a reduced response to talimogene laherparepvec, although this has not been studied. If you have recently received talimogene laherparepvec, your doctor may choose to postpone treatment with nivolumab for a few weeks, or you may need to wait for a period of time after completing your treatment with nivolumab before receiving talimogene laherparepvec. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
