Drug interactions between lidocaine / oxytetracycline and sarilumab
Interactions between your drugs
Applies to: lidocaine / oxytetracycline and sarilumab
Sarilumab may decrease the blood levels and effects of lidocaine. You may need a dose adjustment if you have been receiving lidocaine and are starting treatment with sarilumab. Likewise, if you have been receiving both medications, the dose of lidocaine may need to be adjusted when sarilumab is discontinued. Contact your doctor if your condition changes or you experience increased side effects. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
Drug and food interactions
Applies to: lidocaine / oxytetracycline
Do not take iron supplements, multivitamins, calcium supplements, antacids, or laxatives within 2 hours before or after taking oxytetracycline. These products can make oxytetracycline less effective in treating your infection. Do not take oxytetracycline with milk or other dairy products, unless your doctor has told you to. Dairy products can make it harder for your body to absorb the medication.
