Before taking doxepin topical, tell your doctor if you also use fosphenytoin. You may need dose adjustments or special tests in order to safely take both medications together. You should notify your doctor if you have loss of seizure control or symptoms such as drowsiness, visual disturbances, change in behavior, nausea, or loss of muscle coordination.
