Using fosphenytoin together with mephobarbital may affect your seizure control. You may need dose adjustments or special tests in order to safely take both medications together. This combination may alter fosphenytoin levels. You should notify your doctor if you have a loss of seizure control or possible symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, tremors, loss of muscle coordination, lethargy, slurred speech, visual disturbances, or changes in mental status.
