Interactions between your drugs
folic acid primidone
Applies to: Focalgin-B (calcium / folic acid / ginger / pyridoxine) and primidone
Some anticonvulsant medications may reduce the blood levels of folic acid. In addition, folic acid treatment may reduce the blood levels of certain anticonvulsants. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring to safely use both medications. Contact your doctor if your condition changes or you experience loss of seizure control. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Drug and food interactions

Ask your doctor before using primidone together with ethanol (alcohol), this can add to dizziness, drowsiness and other side effects of primidone. Be careful if you drive or do activities that require you to be awake and alert. Talk with your doctor before using any medications together, or drinking alcohol with primidone. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
calcium phosphate, tribasic food
Applies to: Focalgin-B (calcium / folic acid / ginger / pyridoxine)
Calcium absorption may be increased by taking it with food. However, foods high in oxalic acid (spinach or rhubarb), or phytic acid (bran and whole grains) may decrease calcium absorption. Calcium may be taken with food to increase absorption. Consider spacing calcium administration for at least 2 hours before or after consuming foods high in oxalic acid or phytic acid. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs.
