Drug interactions between exenatide and Ricobid-D
Interactions between your drugs
Applies to: Ricobid-D (phenylephrine) and exenatide
Phenylephrine may interfere with blood glucose control and reduce the effectiveness of exenatide and other diabetic medications. Monitor your blood sugar levels closely. You may need a dose adjustment of your diabetic medications during and after treatment with phenylephrine. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
Drug and food interactions
Applies to: exenatide
You should take exenatide twice a day, at any time within the 60 minutes (1 hour) before your morning and evening meals, or before the two main meals of the day, and at least 6 hours or more apart.
