SORAfenib may increase the blood levels and effects of erlotinib. You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications. Erlotinib should be taken on an empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal and at the same time each day unless otherwise directed by your doctor. You should also avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice while taking erlotinib. Food and grapefruit can raise the levels of erlotinib in your body and lead to increased side effects. Do not increase or decrease the amount of grapefruit products in your diet without first talking to your doctor.

You may experience reduced absorption of SORAfenib in the presence of food. Take SORAfenib on an empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal unless otherwise directed by your doctor. This will make it easier for your body to absorb the medication.
