Nelfinavir may increase the blood levels and effects of levobupivacaine. Before you receive levobupivacaine, let your doctor know if you have been using nelfinavir. You may need a dose adjustment or closer monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications. Let your doctor know if you experience dizziness, lightheadedness, anxiety, restlessness, tremors, twitching, numbness and tingling of the mouth and lips, metallic taste, ringing in the ears or blurred vision, , as these may be early symptoms of excessive levobupivacaine levels. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
