Moderate

chromium picolinate thyrotropin alfa

Applies to: Cr-GTF (chromium picolinate) and thyrotropin alpha

Using thyrotropin alfa together with chromium picolinate may decrease the effects of thyrotropin alfa. You should separate the administration of chromium picolinate and thyrotropin alfa by taking thyrotropin alfa at least 30 minutes before chromium picolinate or by taking thyrotropin alfa 3 to 4 hours after taking chromium picolinate. If your doctor does prescribe these medications together, you may need a dose adjustment to safely use both medications. Contact your doctor if your condition changes or you experience symptoms of hypothyroidism such as dry skin, weight gain, cold intolerance, weakness, muscle cramps or stiffness, slow pulse, or constipation. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
