Depending on the dose and formulation, regular use of chromium picolinate may help control blood glucose levels in some patients, which may lead to a reduction in your dosage requirement of liraglutide or any other diabetic medications you are receiving. Your blood glucose should be closely monitored so that medications may be adjusted accordingly by your doctor. Let your doctor know if you experience hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar. Symptoms of hypoglycemia include headache, dizziness, drowsiness, nervousness, confusion, tremor, nausea, hunger, weakness, perspiration, palpitation, and rapid heartbeat. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
