Using diazoxide together with chlorothiazide may increase your blood sugar levels and could cause your blood sugar levels to become too high. Symptoms of high blood sugar are increased thirst, increased hunger, and increased urination. You should contact your doctor if you experience loss of blood sugar control. You may need a dose adjustment or check your blood sugar more often to safely use both medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
