Using cetuximab together with CISplatin and/or radiation may increase the risk of side effects such as painful mouth sores, acne-like skin rash, electrolyte imbalances, chest pain, irregular heart rhythm, and heart attack. Let your doctor know if you have a history of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, or other heart problems. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
