Applies to: cimetidine and celecoxib / tramadol
Cimetidine may increase the blood levels and effects of traMADol. You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications. Contact your doctor if you experience dizziness, fainting, confusion, excessive drowsiness, slow heart rate, shallow or difficult breathing, and/or shortness of breath. Avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medications affect you, and use caution when getting up from a sitting or lying position. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
cimetidine celecoxib
Applies to: cimetidine and celecoxib / tramadol
Cimetidine may increase the blood levels of celecoxib in some patients. This may increase the risk of serious side effects such as inflammation, bleeding, ulceration, and perforation (tears) in the gastrointestinal tract; heart attack and stroke; high blood pressure; fluid retention and heart failure; liver and kidney problems; anemia; and serious skin reactions. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. Your doctor may be able to prescribe alternatives that do not interact, or you may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring to safely use both medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
traMADol celecoxib
Applies to: celecoxib / tramadol and celecoxib / tramadol
Celecoxib may increase the blood levels and effects of traMADol. If your doctor does prescribe these medications together, you may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications. Contact your doctor if you experience increased side effects or if your condition changes. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Alcohol can increase the nervous system side effects of traMADol such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience impairment in thinking and judgment. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with traMADol. Do not use more than the recommended dose of traMADol, and avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medication affects you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or concerns.
