This may increase side effects such as extrapyramidal symptoms, cognitive and motor impairment, hyperglycemia, dyslipidemia, weight gain, orthostatic hypotension, leucopenia, neutropenia, seizures, and dysphagia. You should avoid the consumption of grapefruit and grapefruit juice during treatment with cariprazine.
