The makers of betibeglogene autotemcel recommend that emtricitabine be stopped before your blood stem cells are collected. You should speak with your doctor to ensure that emtricitabine is stopped at the appropriate time. Betibeglogene autotemcel may also interfere with the results of certain types of laboratory tests.
