Using ticagrelor together with clarithromycin is generally not recommended. Combining these medications can significantly increase the blood levels of ticagrelor and increase the risk of serious or life-threatening bleeding complications. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. Your doctor may be able to prescribe alternatives that do not interact. Call your doctor promptly if you experience any unusual bleeding or bruising, swelling, vomiting, blood in your urine or stools, headache, dizziness, or weakness during treatment.
