Edit list (add/remove drugs)

Interactions between your drugs

Moderate

hyoscyamine ambenonium

Applies to: Uritact-EC (hyoscyamine / methenamine / methylene blue / phenyl salicylate) and ambenonium

Ask your doctor before using ambenonium together with hyoscyamine. Using these medications together can cause increasing muscle weakness. In addition, such use may mask the less serious, gastrointestinal signs of hyoscyamine overdose and lead to difficulty breathing, chest pain, and possibly death. If your doctor prescribes these medications together, you may need a dose adjustment or special tests to safely use both medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

hyoscyamine food

Applies to: Uritact-EC (hyoscyamine / methenamine / methylene blue / phenyl salicylate)

If your doctor prescribes these medications together, you may need a dose adjustment to safely take this combination. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
