If you are starting treatment with cipaglucosidase alfa after being on alglucosidase alfa, your doctor will generally not start it until close to or at the same time you would have received your next dose of alglucosidase alfa. If you received medications before your previous doses of alglucosidase alfa, your doctor may want you to receive the same pre-medications before you receive your infusion of cipaglucosidase alfa. Make sure your doctor is aware of your history with alglucosidase alfa before you start treatment with cipaglucosidase alfa. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
