Applies to: Addamel N (trace elements with selenium and iodide) and sarecycline

Sarecycline and zinc sulfate should not be taken orally at the same time. Products that contain zinc may interfere with the absorption of sarecycline and reduce its effectiveness. If possible, it may be best to avoid taking zinc sulfate while your are being treated with sarecycline. Otherwise, you should separate the dosing of sarecycline and zinc sulfate by at least 3 to 4 hours. Contact your doctor if your condition worsens. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
