- This medicine is radioactive. You will need to follow what the doctor has told you to lessen being exposed to technetium tc 99m pyrophosphate. Talk with the doctor.
- You will need to empty your bladder often after the test is over as your doctor has told you. Talk with your doctor.
- Drink lots of noncaffeine liquids unless told to drink less liquid by your doctor.
- This medicine may affect certain lab tests. Tell all of your health care providers and lab workers that you take technetium tc 99m pyrophosphate.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan on getting pregnant. You will need to talk about the benefits and risks of using technetium tc 99m pyrophosphate while you are pregnant.
