Before I started taking sulfasalazine I weighed 130lbs. Since taking this medication for approximately 2 yrs I am at a standstill weighing 120lbs. Could this be due to the medication?

Anyone recently started Lialda & at what dose did you experience change? Good or bad?

My doctor did a poor job of explaining what I might expect to feel after I started this graduated regimen of Lialda. I am 60 and the only other prescription I take is gababentin as I had spine fusion (3 level) 3 years ago. I was on Pentasa for 2 weeks prior to starting Lialda.

My husband is taking Asacol for 3 yrs now.(400 mg x12) Isn't a bit to much?
