I woke up withh severe shking down my left side and was hospitalised for 3days they tested me for every thing including a brain scan and heart monitoring and found nothing could it have been the result of coming off the prednisone abruptly?

My daughter was diagnosed in february and the biopsy showed minimal change disease. SHe was started on 80 mg of Prednisonse for 2 months, has been reduced down to 40 and if she is protien free at the end of May will be reduced to 20 mg. she has had lots of side effects with the Prednisonse. My ...

2 yr old female has been on prednisone, prograf, lasix for a yr., now phys want to give her rituximab iv. They feel this will reset her white blood cells and they will be able to take her off meds. So concerned of usage in children as well as non-cancer pt.
