... We are no longer in need of 4 cans of Calcilo, a low calcium and Vitamin D free formula, and we are trying to find somewhere to donate them. They were very expensive and I'd hate to see them go to waste. I'm willing to ship them if need be

I visited the ER and the dr says that my calcium level was just too high the highest he has ever seen . He said almost double the amount it should be. I take atorvastatin calcium. I am just wondering if this maybe causing it.

I recently read that thiazide type diuretics can interact with calcium carbonate and vitamin D supplements, thus increasing the risks of hypercalcemia and hypercalciuria. The recommended amt of calcium for a 47 yr old (my age) is 1,000. Is this okay to take?
